Run the cabin from the small generator

Why: The pump house batteries are low and need charging and there's not enough sunlight available to charge them.

Goals

1. Run the small generator at the pump house to charge the batteries

CHECKLIST

1. ☐ Move the small orange generator to the pavers in front of the pumphouse
2. ☐ Start the generator
   • Follow the instructions printed on the generator
     • Open the vent on the gas cap
     • Turn the knob to CHOKE (or to RUN if the generator is already warmed up)
     • Pull the start handle/rope on the side of the generator. Repeat as needed to start.
   • Wait a few seconds; turn the knob to RUN
   • Ensure the ECONOMY switch is ON (gen will throttle up when under load)
3. ☐ Plug the charge cable into the generator, wait a couple minutes

4. ☐ Verify the MagnaSine display indicates CHARGING

   • This should happen automatically, about 30s after the running generator is plugged into the inverter.
